airfryer-potatoslidersThese savoury air fryer potato sliders (potato slices) are loaded with all of your favourite toppings. Crisp bacon, melty cheese, fresh green onions and creamy sour cream come together to create the perfect side dish or a festive appetizer. Air-fried potato sliders are game-changers. These crispy, about ¼" thick potato slices are like potato skins, loaded baked potatoes and potato chips all rolled into one. They are super easy to make and they slide right into your mouth in one easy delicious bite.

1 large russet potato, cut into approx ¼" thick slices
1 Tbsp. extra-virgin olive oil
kosher or sea salt
black pepper, freshly ground
½ cup cheddar cheese, shredded
2-3 slices bacon, cooked and cut into small pieces
2 Tbsp. green onions or chives, chopped
¼ cup sour cream

Scrub and rinse the potato. Leave the skin on (optional).

Thinly slice the potato to approximately ¼" thick.

Rinse the potato slices under running water. This helps to rid of the starch.

Place the potato slices in a large bowl. Sprinkle with olive oil, salt, and pepper to season.

Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C).

Arrange the potato slices in a single layer.

Air fry mode at 375°F (190°C) for 5 minutes, until lightly browned on top.

Flip each potato slice on the other side and cook for 2 minutes.

Sprinkle the cheese evenly among the potato slices and cook for 2-3 minutes, until the cheese is melted and caramelized.

Top each potato slice with bacon, green onions or chives and a dollop of sour cream.

Serve immediately.

Makes 9 servings.
