Queen Bee (Compass Distillers Gin Royal)

A cocktail fit for a queen, the Queen Bee is the perfect combination of sweet and sour. Using local gin and orange bitters, it's both simple and delicious.

2 oz Compass Distillers Gin Royal
¾ oz lemon juice, freshly squeezed
¾ oz honey syrup
1-3 dashes Compass Distillers Aromatic orange bitters

Garnish:
edible flower

Combine all ingredients into an ice-filled shaker tin.

Shake well and strain into chilled coupe glass.

Garnish with an edible flower like a nasturtium or viola.

Make the Honey Syrup:
Just bring 1 cup of honey and 1 cup of water to a boil, turn the heat off, and let cool. This syrup is easier to stir into cocktails than adding straight honey, which can coagulate in cold liquids.

Makes 1 cocktail.
