Cheese Fondue (Cheddar Gouda and Parmesan)

cheesefonduethreeThis ultimate Three Cheese Fondue is so cheesy and perfect with bread, veggies and meat.

½ lb. smoked gouda cheese, shredded
½ lb. sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
¼ cup Parmesan cheese, shredded
¼ cup cornstarch
2 cloves garlic
1 cup white wine
⅛ tsp. kosher salt
⅛ tsp. ground nutmeg
several cracks black pepper

Dippers:
bread cubes, chicken, steak, steamed broccoli, cooked potatoes, soft pretzels

Toss together the cheeses and cornstarch in a bowl. Set aside.

Heat a fondue pot or a saucepan over medium heat. Finely mince the garlic and add to the skillet/fondue pot. Add white wine and allow to simmer for 2 minutes. Add salt, pepper and nutmeg and stir.

Lower heat to low and add half the cheese. Stir until melted. Add in remaining cheese and stir until melted. Keep on low in your fondue pot and serve.

Makes 6 servings.
