Baked Brie with Apples and Almonds
Rich and delicious this French inspired creation is great for last minute entertaining.
1 (8 oz) round Brie or Camembert cheese
2 Tbsp. butter, melted
½ cup almonds, sliced
4 apples, sliced
To Serve:
whole-wheat crackers or toasted baguette slices
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
Place the Brie on an oven-safe serving dish. Brush the top with butter and toss the nuts in the remaining butter. Scatter the nuts over the top of the cheese.
Bake in the oven for 8-10 minutes, or until the cheese softens and the nuts are lightly toasted.
Serve surrounded with apple and crackers or toasted baguette slices.
