Dark Chocolate Walnut Fudge
This Bittersweet Chocolate Fudge is the creamiest, richest fudge ever and is made in one bowl with 3 ingredients. It's the perfect base for any mix-ins and is a quick and fun treat for any occasion.
3 cups bittersweet chocolate chips (750 mL)
1 (14 oz) can Eagle Brand® sweetened condensed milk (300 mL)
2 tsp. pure vanilla extract (10 mL)
½ cup walnuts or hazelnuts, chopped (125 mL)
Melt chocolate chips with sweetened condensed milk. Remove from heat; stir in vanilla and nuts.
Spread evenly in parchment paper-lined 8" (20 cm) square pan. Chill 4 hours or until firm.
Remove from pan and peel off paper. Cut into squares.
Makes about 2 lbs (1 kg).
How to Store Fudge Made with Condensed Milk:
- Homemade fudge made with condensed milk is quite soft compared to traditional fudge. This means it should be kept in the refrigerator, if left at room temperature it will soften further.
- You can store this lemon fudge in the fridge in an airtight container for up to 2 weeks.
- You could also store it in the freezer for up to 3 months in an airtight container.
