chocolateorangefudgeThis easy chocolate orange fudge recipe only takes 5 ingredients and a few minutes to make. It is smooth, creamy and a perfect way to satisfy your sweet tooth.

12 oz chocolate chips (340 g)
14 oz sweetened condensed milk, divided
1 cup white baking chips (236 g)
½ tsp. pure orange extract
2-3 drops orange food colouring, preferably gel

Line a 8x8" pan with aluminum foil to easily remove the foil later. Grease with butter.

Put the chocolate chips and 1 cup of the condensed milk in a double-boiler. On low heat, stir constantly until melted.

Spread in the prepared pan and put in the refrigerator while you work on the orange layer.

Add white chips and the remaining condensed milk to a double-boiler. Heat in the same fashion as the chocolate chips.

When the mixture stirs smooth, add the orange extract and food colouring. Stir until evenly incorporated. Spread over the chocolate layer until smooth.

Return the pan to the refrigerator until the fudge is completely set, at least a half hour, before cutting.

Store in an airtight container in a cool place for up to 3 weeks.

Makes 36 (6x6") pieces.

  • You can store this lemon fudge in the fridge in an airtight container for up to 2 weeks.
  • You could also store it in the freezer for up to 3 months in an airtight container.
