White Chocolate Fudge (Lemon)

whitechocolatelemonfudgeThis easy Lemon Fudge recipe is a simple and quick lemon dessert that is bursting with fresh and zesty lemon flavour.

3 cups (18 oz) white chocolate chips (500 g)
1 (14 oz) can sweetened condensed milk
4 Tbsp. butter, softened
3 Tbsp. lemon juice, freshly juiced
3 Tbsp. lemon zest, freshly grated, divided

Line an 8x8" square pan with parchment paper.

In a double boiler over medium-low heat, add the chocolate chips, milk, butter, lemon juice and 2 Tbsp. lemon zest. Continue stirring the mixture until melted.

Pour the fudge into the prepared pan and sprinkle the remaining lemon zest on top.

Allow the mixture to cool at room temperature and then cover the pan and move to the refrigerator for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight.

Once hardened cut into 1" squares.

Makes 36 squares.


How to Store Fudge made with Condensed Milk:

  • Homemade fudge made with condensed milk is quite soft compared to traditional fudge. This means it should be kept in the refrigerator, if left at room temperature it will soften further.
  • You can store this lemon fudge in the fridge in an airtight container for up to 2 weeks.
  • You could also store it in the freezer for up to 3 months in an airtight container.
