Garlic Dressing (Sour Cream)
This homemade dressing is creamy and garlicky. Use as a dip for veggies or as a dressing for salad.
½ cup mayonnaise
¼ cup sour cream
1 Tbsp. apple cider vinegar
2 Tbsp. extra-virgin olive oil
2 Tbsp. fresh parsley chopped
3-6 cloves garlic, minced
½ tsp. onion powder
½ tsp. sea salt
¼ tsp. black pepper, freshly ground
Combine mayonnaise, sour cream, and vinegar in a bowl and whisk to combine.
Continue whisking while slowly adding olive oil. Stir in parsley, garlic, and onion powder.
Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Refrigerate at least 1 hour before serving. Store for up to 3 days in the fridge.
Cook's Notes:
- Shake the cruet or mason jar vigorously before using it again.
- Swap out the vinegar for lemon juice to change the flavour slightly.
- For a thinner dressing, add a bit of milk or buttermilk.
