Corned Beef Hash Quiche

cornedbeefhashquicheIf you're a fan of corned beef hash, this quiche will not disappoint. This is my favourite version of this delicious quiche.

1 Tbsp. butter
1 small onion, chopped
½ cup cooked ham, diced
4 large eggs
¼ cup milk
1 tsp. garlic powder
sea salt
black pepper, freshly ground
1 (15 oz) can corned beef
1 (9") frozen deep-dish pie crust
1 cup cheddar cheese, freshly shredded

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C/170°C fan, Gas Mark 5).

Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat. Add onion and ham; cook and stir until onion is soft and ham begins to brown, 8-10 minutes. Set aside to cool.

Whisk eggs, milk, garlic powder, salt and black pepper together in a large bowl.

Spread corned beef hash into pie crust, pressing firmly with the back of a spoon. Spread onion and ham mixture over top. Add egg mixture until filled; avoid overfilling. Top with cheddar cheese. Place quiche on a baking sheet.

Bake in the preheated oven until crust is golden brown and center is set, 25-30 minutes. Remove from oven; let stand 10 minutes before slicing. Serve warm.

Makes 8 servings.
